Strain. Heirloom Highland Thai.

Appearance. really long stretched out buds withe some big pronounced calyxes. So many trichomes that they stick to everything. The colours are a yellowing tone of green which is added to by the trichomes which have been left to mature properly and the yellowing orange pistils which erupt from each calyx.

Aroma. Really stinky, sweet and rich. Smells somewhere between Durban Poison and Haze. Really sweet and spicy.

Flavour. Tastes really nice, tropical fruit with a hint of lemon grass, has a nice spicy and sweet after taste. Really great flavours.

Effects. Sativa up and energy giving, I feel focused and ready to go, going to get on with another article after publishing this review :). it is also a bit of a creeper and definitely helps take my mind of my chronic pain.

Comments. Really nice and very tasty.

DCSC Californian Medical Cannabis Review.

Strain. DCSC ( Deep Chunk x Strawberry Cough )

Appearance. Gorgeous trichome laden buds which are dense and deep dark green.

Aroma. Very dank – deep pungent low tones with some skunky almost sweet & sour highs. Fresh and smooth, smells delicious.

Flavour. Tastes great, really fresh and funky.

Effects. More of a sativa daytime smoke as it is quite racy and energy giving, not bad for pain and spasticity.

Comments. Fantastic strain with some really nice effects.

Strain. Sour Diesel – Mendocino Sun Grown Cannabis Review.

Appearance. Bright green buds which are not too dense but are compltely caked in trichomes. a small amount of brown hairs and deeper greens on the leaf that is left.

Aroma. This strain smells fantastic, very strong and pungent earthy lows with a deep rich earthiness. The high notes are very sweet and have the classic sour diesel “chem” smell.

Flavour. The taste is delicious, very much like the smell very earthy low tones and sweet highs.

Effects. The effects are great, very good pain relief which is almost instant after the first toke. A very good day time smoke which is uplifting but not racy.

Comments. A classic strain with a great flavour, sour diesel is a must try for any cannabis enthusiast.

Space Queen – Mendocino Sun Grown Cannabis Review.

Strain – Space Queen TGA subcool – sun grown in Mendocino.

Appearance – Mainly smallish but dense buds which have a yellowing colour. a few tiny bits of golden leaf remain. The colour hasn’t really come out on the bud photo (sorry its a bad one) but you can see in the pipe bowl more clearly. quite a few small trichomes and golden brown hair, which add to the yellow tones on th

e bud.

Aroma – very stinky, some where between lemon haze and jack herer in terms of its lemon fresh kind of smell, definitely has some earthy low tones too. Smells really good.

Flavour – has a really nice sweet and hazy flavour with quite a lot of lemon fresh high notes and some planty and earthy lows the smell is slightly better then the taste. 

Effects – Heads up body up sativa effect, good for the morning but below average for my pain.

Comments –The smell is fantastic but im not sure about this version too much, its good but its not the best. this is some bud which i trimmed up and it wasn’t exactly the nicest experience trimming ive ever had 😛

Blueberry Sungrown Californian Cannabis Review.

Strain. Blueberry

Appearance. Long elongated sativa buds, lots of trichomes. Vibrant green calyxes fade into deep green leaves. Some nice pistils  which are quite dark orange brown.

Aroma. Very strong smell which hits you as soon as the bag is opened, very sweet and almost candy like. strong berries and sugar sweetness make a fantastic smelling strain.

Flavour. Similar to the smell but with a little added smokey and skunky pungent flavour

Effects. I feel like this needed a little longer to reach its full potential. it is nice and up lifting but lack in pain relief. after a pipe of this im already thinking about rolling a joint of something i know takes pain away to a greater extent. the uplifting effects are very pleasant so i can see this being a very good smoke for recreational smokers, however i need something heavier hitting when it comes to pain relief.

Comments. The smell and taste are fantastic really surprised how much it tasted like a blueberry candied sweet.

Girl Scout Cookies Californian Sungrown Cannabis Review

Strain. Girl Scout Cookies.

Appearance. Loads of trichomes all over, some deep greens almost purples, this came from a friend un trimmed but that has allowed me to add some trim to my collection so its all good. the leaves which have been left on are very dark purple almost black. there are some nice lime green calyxes and dark brown pistils erupt from each one.

Aroma. Smells amazing, really deep pungent berry and fruit with an almost cheesy pungentness to it. some high fruit and musky aroma’s make this strain a winner.

Flavour. Tastes fantastic, real pungent and earthy, very fruity and rich.

Effects. Its a heavy indica effect, very strong sleepy stone, really good for making sure you get to sleep.

Comments. Great strain, can efinately see why it is so popular, a strain i feel the cheese lovers in the UK would really get on well with.

Blue Dream Sun Grown Californian Cannabis Review.

Strain. Blue Dream

Appearance. Pristine trichomes lace all over this bud, a few orange brown and cream pistils. Very dense, elongated bud formations.

Aroma. Deep pungent and earthy lows with a real fruity sweetness. smells fantastic.

Flavour. Taste is delicious, very earthy and pungent like the smell would suggest. a deep rich fruitness and some light sweet highs, all in all the best version of this strain i have tasted.

Effects. This has some great effects it is a hybrid and one of the ones which really works well through out the day. very good for pain and spasticity – after smoking lots of this i feel able to do more, its really that good.

Comments. A fantastic sun grown version of a classic strain.

Purple Kush BHO Dampkring Off shelf Extract Review.

Have to say a big thanks to the awesome team at the Dampkring who gave me some of this to sample, it is not for sale and you cant get it on the menu so i was very lucky to get a chance to review it.

Purple Kush BHO Off shelf Dampkring.

Appearance. Dark brown slab, looks like a huge block of hash :). When some it taken from the big mass it is much more brown and almost golden brown. A few bubbles through out. The main block is very dense in the middle.

Aroma. Smells really really good, pure deep pungent kush with the berry’s and grapes the earthyness and the sweet chemmy smell all in one, smells fantastic.

Flavour. Tastes just like the smell, really heavy on the pungent earthy and berry tones, absloutely delicious.

Effects. Not the strongest concentrate I have ever tried but it certainly packs a punch that flowers could never deliver. Nice clean and clear body high which leaves me feeling relaxed and in considerably less pain.

Comments. This is amazing, really wish I had more. Although I feel pretty lucky to have got to try it too. Hope there is still some left next time I visit the dampkring. Please don’t ask for it when you are there, as they cant sell it i’m afraid. There is a nice selection of flowers for you to see though. The dampkring is good for the bugest and connoisseur smokers due to its large menu.

Legal Cannabis Possession In The UK.

Many people believe that cannabis possession is illegal in the UK, but that’s not strictly true as a little know European agreement means that there are ways to consume cannabis in the UK legally, Just not if you come from here.

Wednsday the 9th of October is a date that is set to go down in history as NORML UK have courageously exposed the gaps where the misuse of drugs act can be shown to be a failure. None more so than the inclusion of cannabis in schedule 1 which means according to the government cannabis has “no known medical benefit” This protest shows that this is an outright lie. Dutch Patients prescribed bedrocan can legally bring 30 days worth to the UK. So cannabis is recognized as a medicine n the UK …. unless you’re a British Citizen.

It is about time things changed in Britain, for too long medical patients have been discriminated against for their use of cannabis and we believe patients should be allowed to grow their own medicine in the privacy of their own homes.

The 9th is set to be a fantastic day with some Dutch patients making the journey over to the UK with their prescribed Bedrocan – dutch medical cannabis – and they will be using it to medicate outside Parliament between 12 and 3pm

I’m busy writing my speech for the event and i’m very excited to be able to address those of you that are able to make it.
